ECB Natwest CricketForce
« on: September 11, 2014, 08:25:34 AM »

Morning gents,

I get the gist of this, but has anyone got anymore information about the Natwest CricketForce?

We usually have two days, one before the start of the season and one at the end, on which we all turn up to get some work done on the ground but we aren't registered with CricketForce. Whats the deal with it, what does signing up to it achieve? Does it provide a grant or something?

it costs nothing to sign up and if you prove you did it with photos etc they give you at least £250 towards club and some t shirts from what I know

The free t-shirts are a bonus but the main point of it is if you're looking to buy any additional equipment/supplies then you can get them with good discounts.

NCF have deals with Jewsons, Durant and a couple of energy providers so depending on your usual spend on equipment/size of the club you can make some good savings. Our club over the past 2 years has bought brand new sight screens from Durant and erected fencing along one side of the pitch thanks to Jewsons (farmers field next door - no end of lost balls before!).

The savings aren't humongous but it's items we would have had to buy anyway so the savings are a bonus (and it's extremely easy to sign up too).

I have organised it for the last couple of years. Sign up is free you get some t-shirts and promotional material. They have a special deal with jewsons where you put in £50 and they put in £350. To spend on anything they sell. I rebuilt most of the groundsman shed this year.
