Well worth a visit to Hunts and watching Tony at work, proper old school bat maker and uses an old wicket keeper glove like you will have never seen before.....

What a beauty. Im glad there is still room in the market for more traditional shaped bats. I havent seen too many in that vein over here in Aus though.

Very nice bat Jake. Is that one made in the UK at the factory? Also does it have scoops taken out at the top of the bat by the shoulder? Looks a funky shape if so with a deck bill toe .

Yes made by Tony in Huntingdon, he said the duck bill toe is possibly his favourite shape to make.

Looks like it would have a massive middle on it. Cool reinterpretation of a old classic.

2'9 with 32mm edges approx. No idea on spine height, i don't think it has much relevance. Taps up nicely and picks up like a wand. The customer didn't ask for anything too specific or 'difficult' - these are often the guys who end up with some really nice bats as the number of clefts available is not limited by a silly restriction like number of grains or heartwood etc. It's also nice to be trusted by a customer.

The shoulder 'scoop' looks a bit more drastic in the photo (i think due to the angle) but it is definitely there, makes for a nice shape and i guess saves a little bit of weight.

I also had this 2'10 Insignia made. Note it carries 5 stag stickers, which is a mistake, but I'm sure it's a mistake any customer wouldn't mind.

2'10 on the nose with reserved edges and little/no concaving. Comes with a toe guard and most importantly that lovely duck bill toe.

£175 as per the pricing on page 1. I will knock in this bat for free for any forum member.
