Not many brands left to try for me, Redback and H4L have impressed me with the couple I have seen at work. The English bat makers seem to struggle a bit with light bats from the ones I have seen.

That's an interesting comment about the English made bats.  I have noticed this too, although it does depend a lot on the shape etc.  I suspect it is mainly down to a higher moisture content...

Wouldn't class 2.8 as light, I'd say that's about normal nowadays - the lightest I had this year was a request for a 'full profiled 2.4'...

More mass, around 2:12/2:13. I am ok with fewer grains if bat will last longer. Some concaving to help with the pickup. High, high middle. Heart-wood on the inside edge would be great as I like to flick. Max edges 7inches from the toe. Spine peek 11 inches from the toe. Massive bow, want to clear them 30 yarders.  :D

I chatted with H4L about Tempo, unfortunately, the mid peek can't be too high which is what I like.

2.6 2.7, have had some 2.5 in this season. We don't sell a lot over 2.9 2.10 with the exception being a few 3 pounders that a few of the pub players go for. Very little between 2.10 and 3lb.
