Bought a Slazenger and a Harrow B3 to go alongside my Red Inker, after winning a fair bit of cash on the World Cup. The harrow is a TKC copy bat which weighs in at 2'5 and has pretty similar pick up which is good for a bottom heavy bat. Will see how it goes when i knock it in. Will get rid of the Slazenger as it's a little bit too heavy for me.

I also got myself some keeping gloves as i've been asked to don them a few times of late, and going forwards i see myself as a keeper bat! I initially bought a cheap black pair of gloves from Hunts County @ £20, however, when i opened them up before my game, the palms looked like they'd had something burnt into them (presumably the plastic inside them during the heatwave?) and had a small hole in them, so took them back. The guy in the shop gave me a pair of £40 gloves for no extra charge, excellent service

After 2 or so metres of scuff sheet for my bats, if anyone could point me in the right direction i'd be grateful!

New bat added to the bag after a nice box was delivered this morning. Inside was a grainaliacious b3 which I have instantly fallen for...... see pics

My match bat the b3 pro in the pic is an absolute rocket and will take some beating. The keeley pro is a special bat and am looking forward to having a go with that but I don’t tend to rotate my bats if they are going well and I am scoring runs plus the flat six I hit through cover last week with the b3 was a real  eye opener. I now have this little beauty to fight out with the TK as back up

Wow, built like a tank ... made out of polystyrene.  Incredible looking bat for the weight, what's the response like?

Whats the difference between LE, Pro and Crown?

Whats the difference between LE, Pro and Crown?

good question, basically when i got streaky to do my pro i asked for the lightest possible willow regardless of looks and he basically said this was the lightest of clefts but not aesthetically quite good enough to be graded as a crown. i think it has a small pin knot somewhere. i would be interested for this to be confirmed though. I suspect the density of this LE isn't quite as light as my pro. although it is massive my pro bat is a lot thicker all over with a thick toe and shoulders with minimal concaving.

Gave my 2 bats a clean up and some tlc ready for the weekend. Been going ok but I’ve not really been required to use them much, our #4 has taken a liking to the white stickered one and scored his first ton for our club with it the other week.

how do i upload images to the forum

For the winter I am getting a package from Ace Cricket, saves me having to ship kit out there. They've got a new range of gloves out that I'm keen on, what do you all think of these?

Unfortunately one of my two new sticks this season has broken and is on its way to the manufacturer for repair or replacement, customer service fantastic as always from them.
Bought myself a Newbury Quantum LE, 2lb10 SSH on ebay as an experiment, great looking on the playing area but a knot up by where the stickers go. Will add pics when I take them.

Those gloves remind me of shell suits from the 90’s.

Their sponsored Pro in the wbbl is using them in the tourney. I'm thinking a pair for t20s maybe, but get 3 pairs of their normal ones in my ambassador package
