Knocking in after oiling and old bat
« on: October 26, 2014, 01:04:34 PM »

I use this bat quite often. Just removed the scuff sheet in the hope of reducing some weight. Then put some oil....mainly to get rid of the residual glue.

Do I need to do some knocking in now because of the oil in the surface?

Thx

If the bat has already been knocked in and used then no further knocking-in will be needed.  Just leave the oil to soak in for 24 hours (leave the bat in a horizontal position).
