website is working at the moment. yes its a cardinal sin but if someone would like to donate a small fortune free of charge to have someone to run my website on a day to day basis that's fine.

Ok just spoken to a mate of mine who is looking at the website for me. It is working but taking forever to load up I'm afraid due to jargon that I do not and will never understand but basically we are going to re build our website from scratch. My suggestion would be to look at www.shopify.co.uk

My business has a few clients that use it. I don't build websites myself, but I've been told it's simple, stable, accessible, cheap, has good support and is content managed. IMO for smaller businesses, template sites are the way to go.

Shopify is nice but I don't like the fact they take a commission in your sales.

I use 3dcart and it is pretty good as well. Has decent enough templates and doesn't take a commission.
