Dilshan suffers broken nose

Was I the only one thinking that he was trying the Dilshan special without a helmet after reading the headlines..

Glad hes ok though..  :D

haha, bit ironick, playing that shot god knows how many times and then gets a facial injury during a football match :D

a mate of mine tried his shot a while ago and ended up with a fat lip! straight under the grill.....

i tried it without a helmet which was a very bloody experience, a passer by thought i had been shot!

Witnessed a mate trying it, only to guide it perfectly into his grill.  ;D

I dont think i'll try it until i've mastered the sweep!

Tried it with a tennis ball first.. Probably 1 of the smartest move I made in my life..  ;D

Tennis ball fuzz tastes pretty bad..  :D

I tried it last season . . .presented the easiest of catches to the WK after the ball smashed into my left shoulder!!

Needless to say it will stay in the locker indefinately from now on!!

im working on mine, not the full blown but the slightly more normal way of going across and flicking it over the shoulder!

I play that towards the end of a net.

I like it because on a length you can get it away and if its full you can as well, if its short and if you have amazing hands you can get it over still, I dont but still

a different mate played it perfectly on a ball outside off stump with a bowling machine on 70!
