My new long bladed Vulcan Laminate
« on: January 07, 2015, 08:36:51 PM »

After a long time procrastinating I bite the bullet and decided to order a laminate from Dean @Vulcan Cricket

All the way along communication with Dean was great and the bat finally arrived this weekend

The specs are long blade, oval handle with two grips. Wasn't too bothered about the specs but wanting something that pinged like crazy.  Turns out it's got 42mm edges and a 65ish mm spine.

Haven't had chance to knock it in yet but mallet response is great and a ball just flys off. Oh and it weighs 2 11

Apologies for the rubbish photos but only got my phone at the minute

Can't wait to knock this in and get it down the nets

Looks like a lovely stick, is it a laminate for size or performance?

Performance really. Im 6'3" can believe it's taken me this long to get a long bladed bat. It just feels so much more comfortable in my hands.

Pick is great to. Not necessarily light but it feels well balanced. Couldn't really ask for more.

Just finished knocking this in the mallet response is brilliant.

Using an old ball the ping is great.

Apologies for the bad video but you should get some idea
