RAW Refurbishment

Tom, I've got a RAW helmet that has now got the odd scratch and chip on it. Can a RAW helmet be refurbished back to its original raw state or does it have to be painted?

@Jimmyg
if it was purchased as a raw helmet then it should be easy enough to refurb it again with a light rub down and coat or 2 of lacquer.
Best bet is to send some pictures and can advise then.
