Kookaburra Viper at PDC ?
« on: April 13, 2015, 11:07:00 AM »

Hello All,

Came across this bat at the infamous Pro-Direct Cricket's website. Having not heard of the "Viper" model before, I googled it and learned this was released in Australia few years back and seems it is exclusively available at PDC at an amazing price! Only issue is, it doesn't state what Grade or model # this bat is, in line with Kook's usual grading options.

I also cannot tell whether the price is a bargain or purely an overpriced G3 willow?

Anyone have any thoughts, or experience buying this and know which model this bat falls within? Is it worth taking a punt?

I bought one last year and it was good. Very soft pressed though and a lot of concaving. But I have to admit that I have seen better Pumas classified as Pro-Level than the Kook Viper. So I believe you would be riding a bit of luck in terms of what you get!!

Had a couple in for kncoking in recently, struck me as nothing more than mid range Kahunas with red stickers.
