Just an update on the bat (Newbery Kudos SPS size 6) that my son (who is 12) bought on our first visit to UZI. As I said in the first post we were assisted by Asad's son to find the best bat for my son and I think this has now been proven. He has batted well and has had  retirements due to scoring more than 30 runs but last night he hit a massive six. I have just measured the distance on google maps from the crease to the bushes that stopped it hitting a conservatory -- 63m. It hit the top of the bushes (about 10ft high) and was still going. Best of all it wasn't a slog with lots of effort, just well timed and it absolutely flew out of the middle.
We will definitely be back to UZI for the next bat as the service we got helped my son choose the bat with the best sweet spot and pick up (in his opinion) even when comparing with the other Kudos's they had in stock.

cheers
