Platinum Lounge

I was wondering if anyone could clarify what the Platinum lounge is and what it offers as I can't seem to figure it out. Has anyone been to it?

Sounds like a strip club. I expect strippers (not aero ones) faking an interest in you whilst wearing a masuri lid and Asics spikes

I hope its a private room with top quality wood........ I mean willow... it looks like a room in a storage unit with a sofa, bat rack and a free can of Fosters. Nice idea, better than many but having spent some time on the forum, I would rather buy lightly used as bats are a bit like cars and value just flops with age,, a bit like the wood I guess.

Hi guys,

Put simply the Platinum Lounge is an unparalleled retail experience. You can find out more either by visiting, or by picking up a copy of the latest All Out Cricket, which features a Double Page Spread with more information, and a £40 off voucher for any bats.

The concept is to try and make the experience of buying a bat something which simply is not possible elsewhere. Whilst other retailers may have nets etc, being the fact we are in Central London (5 minutes walk from the Oval, and Vauxhall tube station), and not out in the sticks somewhere, there simply isn't the space, so we have opened this Lounge as the ultimate haven for cricketers looking to spend some quality time over their equipment.

Unfortunately no strippers on display I'm afraid!

Many other bonuses to coming down and trying out the gear though, so do pop down, especially if you're heading to the Oval on Friday!

Well there's the deal breaker right there. Instead of your Platinum Lounge I guess I'll stay closer to home and pay a visit to The Playground which hasn't long opened  ;)
