« on: July 01, 2015, 06:06:00 PM »

im a larger lad and im finding it difficult to find whites that aren't tight around my thighs. ive got kookaburra ones at the minute and theyre quite tight around my thighs and too long really. I was wondering if anyone knew of any whites for the larger lad

I've had the same problem before and found Asics are the best. I had the ankle hems taken up due to personal preference but they weren't that long. They've lasted brilliantly as well

We have our own Uzi sports trousers which offer fairly good room around thighs compared to other trousers, what size do u normally wear. I think I have 2xl size available

I got some adidas ones this season. Though i'm not sure they're any wider in the thigh than other trousers i've had, i find the fabric amazingly stretchy and flexible (and they seem to wash very well) so they may accommodate the, er, larger gentleman very well.

I use Canterbury for the trousers. They are comfortable and relaxed.

Tops I use GN or Canterbury again.

North Gear were fairly generous on sizing if you can find any pairs on eBay, my first pair lasted 2 or 3 seasons before the stitching finally gave up.

Does anyone else find whites trousers sizing ridiculous in general? I'm six foot tall with a 36" waist and pretty much every trouser with a 36" waist comes with 36" leg meaning I have to beg the Mrs to take them up or tuck them into my socks.

I have a mate who is very tall but also pretty wide, and he has the same problem with a bigger waist with an equally ridiculous leg size and a couple of the guys ares getting towards the wider than they are tall shape and their trousers end up taller than they are!

Who do they design them for?!

Masuri went the other way. I'm tall and fat and ended up with ankle swingers because they assumed all fatties must be dwarfs!
