As I recall any game was subject to us getting availability, which we failed to do based on this thread. Jumping ahead and confirming a fixture without a team seems a little presumptuous.

Secondly, the dates of the Stone CC game may be moving, until the dates are confirmed and availability taken, I don't think it's wise to commit to another fixture. If its the same day we are stuffed!

Lastly, any communication should be with myself and other admin first. I believe we are the point of contact for CBF matches, to avoid the issues mentioned above and to ensure the organisation (selection/monies/off pitch) is done in a appropriate manner. Maybe you could drop me a PM and explain why you have bypassed Admin tommo?

Evening gents, I have been asked by Tommo to organise the CBF team for this fixture. If you are interested in playing, can you write in this thread stating if you are a batsman/bowler/specialist fielder etc. I realise that a few people have confirmed an interest already, can you do so again please.

Topic unlocked now I have established the Stone CBF game is not going to clash. @tommo256 if you can let us know what is happening with this fixture I would be grateful. Please note this is a call for players by tommo and organised by himself. This won't be an official CBF team as such.

This is being played at the the club Tommo and I now play at. If someone (maybe your self mate) captains the. I believe it will as it's penciled in the fixtures with the groundsmen I believe.

Also a stunning ground with one of the best pitches I have played on, fast, hard true with great carry, lovely smooth outfield and decent facilities.
Just needs someone to be captain and take forward. I would be I'm on holiday unfortunately.

We have provisionally agreed a game as 'Vitas Lions XI'

That being said, beyond me and Robin and a couple of others, we haven't actually looked at playing numbers as it is still a fair amount of time away and we are currently concentrating on organising teams for the immediate future. From Sat we have 8 games in the following 11 days!

If a few are required i will approach those i know/trust from the forum first, but may venture out to the wider market if needed.
