Stretton Fox Bat Cover
« on: November 24, 2015, 07:37:47 PM »

Now where do I start from?

Having owned StrettonFox gear and knowing George Fox for years, there was not a shade of doubt in his abilities and craftsmanship. I knew he is extremely adept at what he does and is probably best in what he is doing. So, it doesn’t take long in me buying anything off him!!

Anyways, so a bat cover was ordered which is made from taurillon clemence and zebra skin. It has sublime construction and craftsmanship, absolutely surreal. Nothing like anything I have seen before. In past, I have purchased Laver and Wood’s leather bat cover which was full length but the you really can’t have a comparison of those two. With all due respect, they are in separate league. It would be like comparing Hermes with Micheal Kors.

One cannot speak highly enough of George, he is simply a phenomenal bloke and a pleasure to deal with. Extremely kind and genial, certainly can’t extol him enough. I am fortunate to know him, I wish him all the best in his endeavours.

His next creation in luggage department of the game would be nothing but one of kind and exceptional. I can't envisage how better can it be from what I have already had from him!!

My words simply don't do justice to George and kindness along his products! Absolutely not.

Great job George!

Wouldn't get the leather wet as it could blister.

Wonderful decadence!

Erm...not my cup of tea, but each to his own. You'd have to be a very good batsmen to be able to walk into a club with that under your arm, I'd imagine you'd be a target for a little bit of sledging from fielding teams.

Well, I would guess a good batsman would spend his cash on his equipment..:S

Dare I ask how much one of these sets you back?
This is nearly as manly as my leopard print soft pocket (but slightly more exclusive lol)

Why are so many people obsessed with buying gear that won't attract attention fm from oppo?? Are you men or mouses??

Also, who sits at there club going "hey boys, let's see what bat covers this guys have so we can remind them in the field"

Not sure if it's Wierd or pathetic.

Anyway nice bat cover. I wanted one but couldn't stomach the cost!! That's if there still going for what George was originally aiming for

Lovely top end niche gear...

I'd love one, but given the missus getting upset at animals in anything more than very mild peril, I've got no chance!  Let's all hope that no innocent zebras were harmed in the making of this product  ;)

Doesn't stop her wanting a top end leather bag for Christmas though...

Don't worry Jamie, leather is considered a by-product of the food industry so we're helping out :)

PS it's not real zebra, but horse, Zebras are too small to get a good yield !

Thanks George, I'm using that verbatum to justify the purchase of one to the good lady!
