Millichamp & Hall 50mm edges bats
« on: August 19, 2015, 02:49:31 PM »

Hi guys,

Anyone got one of those? Are they any good? Worth the price tag £500? How much difference does that extra 10mm edge size make from the normal 40mm bats?

if the answer is No to the following question: ''are you a professional cricketer? then your answer is No, it's not worth it, it won't help you play any better, time the ball any better or score more runs...

If you spent half that think of what you could do with the other half....go down the pub every night for 2 months, drive a Ferrari round Silverstone for a couple of hours, get all the latest PS2 GAMES(metal gear solid?)

or have an hour with a woman of the night which you would never forget..

I hope the answer has helped

I have seen many modern M&H bats crack and the finishing of them is appalling. Definitely not worth the money in my opinion. Having said that they all perform well.

I like the hooker option too but those bats r from special clefts according to M&H at 2:10.

I like the theory... you could do two lots of tapping in the same night! It would be impressive if you did them both at the same time!

I was interested in these and called up M&H last month. At that time, they had two left in 2-10 weight. I was told that they had had made these bats for Chris Gayle and he bought the heavier ones weighing 3 lbs. The shapes of these bats (2-10) is based on the "International" model and supposedly ping everywhere.

Personally, I am a big fan of M&H bats. Poor finish not withstanding, their bats have amazing ping. I would've bat one of these bats but found a better deal in the Warner replicas (which are cheaper including shipping from AUS).

Warner bats do they come in 2 9 or 2 10?

Warner bats are the exact replica of Warner's bat and weigh 2-13/2-14. It picks up lighter - 2-9 or 2-10

As i asked before, doesn't Gayle use a LHLB though?

I did not talk to Gayle. I talked to M&H. You are in UK? Call up M&H.

I would use the front bit, and not bother with the size of the side bit.
