New era ecb????
« on: October 18, 2015, 11:04:14 AM »

So david whilley had been allowed by the ecb to drop out of the lions tour to play bbl t20 for Perth instead

In a change from previous stances, they say a competitive t20 comp will be better for him and England come next years World Cup!!

About time thy  changed there stance on such things. This mean a few more English in the Ipl next year?

IPL is during the Sri Lanka series right? I can only guess anyone in contention for England selection will leave it alone

Good to see some changes but it does prove KP was right at least, so his haters can't keep saying ECB know best

I think he stands to learn more from this experience than playing against an A side so its a refreshing change. Are any other english players confirmed other than KP? Presume Morgan will get a deal

How is suggesting that playing competitive t20 is more beneficial than playing limited overs games against an A team in preparation for a world cup in any way comparable to suggesting that playing first class county cricket would be more beneficial in preparation for a test match series than competitive t20 cricket?
