Forgot to mention also got my best scores during my early 40s  and was still diving around at point untill the age of 62 but can't run very fast now.Still open the Batting though.

Is good that you are still opening.  I am an opener by nature but sometimes am put in the middle order, not so good because I usually get to face spinners.  Most opening batsman hate facing lobbers.

I'm still pretty good between the wickets and can run threes with no problem.

Yes same here that's one of the reasons I open would hate to get to the crease and have to face a spinner 1st ball I can ply them though just can't hit them unless the ball turns to leg maybe it's because I am lefthanded.
