Nice to see root feature in both sides(albeit at 6 in test and12th Man odi) still it shows he's making the right waves in cricket.


Odd one to me is safraz Ahmed as test stumper. Granted I only saw the England Pakistan series with him, but I didn't think he stood out with the gloves, and wasn't pulling up trees with his batting.

Until Pakistan play a test series outside the UAE or Asia, I'd be tempted to take any selection with a pinch of salt!

Kumar as keeper in both formats for me. I think it's a reflection on the current crop of keeper batters as much as anything. If you are looking for consistency then Lyon would of been a decent shout as he has done it in all conditions. Neither Ashwin or Shah have set the world alight outside Asia but I guess it's based on just this year.

Would you have Broad over Anderson? Not in my opinion.

Ross taylor for ODI's - not sure about that one.
No idea who Rahman is either - a pick to keep the bangladesh fans happy I suppose

Jimmy must feel a little hard done to, has a better 2015 average than Broad, Boult and Hazlewood! Apples and Oranges but he also has a better average than Shah, as does Ashwin.
