Middling Bat qustion...

Hey guys... i have a old bat that whant to convert it into a middling bat....

Can anyone tell me how wide a middling bat shoudl be??? 2 inches???

its however wide as you want it to be. When I cut an old bat down I took and inch off of either side to make sure the handle/splice remained central this made it a little over 2" and it was ideal.
