Performance enhancing scuff sheets.
« on: December 15, 2015, 09:52:31 AM »

Hey all,

Im located in Australia and have never been a fan of scuff sheets prior to this current Australian season where i am currently running one on my bat.

I have heard that different brand and styles effect/help the performance of the bat? Is this true or are these people myth buster dreamers?

I have read posts where people argue they decrease performance but this is the first time I am hearing about performance enhancing sheets! If there is such a thing I want one!

I had a bunch of the performance enhancing one, I can't say if they made or did not make a difference to the bat's performance and neither can my friends who also used those sheets. I know they added a little bit more weight as they were significantly thicker and heavier than the regular sheets. One benefit I did notice was they protected the bat really well once you got them to stick and stay on.

I use clear, thin scuff sheets now ( from @Vitas Cricket ) and they are great, its either those or no scuff for me.
