Evening ladies and gents. My blueroom has a slight crack (see pic) in the toe and the toe guard it came with came off mid-innings. Is the general consensus to get another stuck on, use something else like Shoo Goo or glue and varnish it? Cheers.

Glue the crack then apply varnish to the toe.
It keeps moisture out and doesn't add weight or hide damage the same way a rubber toe guard does.

But seriously, last thing if do is fit a toe guard, they just fall off, and if it doesn't it could hide or mask any crack that re appears or gets bigger.

Does this work well? Could do with something to keep the moisture out of my bat toes and toeguards I find are useless. My mate had a toe sock for his Salix which seemed awesome but only ever seen one!!

I use ronseal outdoor wood varnish
May need re-applying every week or 2, but that takes seconds and is much neater/easier than shoe goo

Tend to use Ronseal yacht vanish if it's good enough for boats it's good for bats

How much shoe goo will one application need? 5.3ml enough?
