Anyone notice that until he changed (just before he was out), Root was wearing white & pink NB gloves for a time today.

Also in the last test someone in the England dressing room was waving around a bat stickered up with black and neon pink NB stickers.

Is this going to be a new range?

@at200 that's the bat I was talking about!

Based on the lead times NB operate on (TC red/yellow kit has only just arrived in stock with us, DC black/orange was just before Christmas, ordered in the Summer) i highly doubt the pink/black will be a new range for the UK 2016 Summer as there has been no word from the brand about a new range for us to buy.

I suspect this is a special edition for the pink ODI (assuming SA still do one?) given NB's historical and ongoing links with SA cricket. There was talk that Steve Smith had a pink/black bat for the pink test that was unfortunately washed out.

Thats what I was thinking @Vitas Cricket probably had several bats for Smithy to choose from for that test so they dished it out to root instead. Who's the main lot of players using new balance? I know miller is but who else is there?

I've seen the DC1080 pads in the flesh and I'm not a fan.
I beleive the owner is thinking of selling them and buying a pair from Australia in hope of getting cane fronted ones.

I'm with you, I saw them in the flesh on Monday and wasn't overly impressed.

That makes much more sense than my theory!
