A Couple of Crowns
« on: January 24, 2016, 07:06:50 AM »

Thought I would finally getting around to sharing my two Crowns with the forum. The first I purchased from @SOULMAN1012 (Thanks mate!) and got along with it from ball one. It has been my match bat ever since I took it off his hands. It is ridiculously light for its size (Its no Pepsi, but when you see the weight of it it is stupid!). It is the Purple Beast.

The second Crown I got off B3 when a super light cleft became available. This thing is massive for its weight, no one can believe how big it is for its weight. Have yet to use it in a game, only one net, waiting on the Purple beast to break so I can unleash the Red Beast. I am a bit spoilt for choice at the moment though especially after what John @Red Ink Cricket  sent my way (check out the Red Ink section for it), the rebound off that bat really is something else. But anyways as per forum rules here are some pictures of the willow, Enjoy!

PS - They are both regular SH in size. Oval Handles. Not shorter blade lengths/widths or anything like that.

Edge/Spine Specs:
Purple: Edge approx 31mm Max, Spine approx 55mm

Red: Edge 35mm, Spine 60mm

There should be a legislation as per which no individual can own more than 1 Crown at any given point without any exceptions [emoji19]
Two class acts there mate !!! Really really chunky for 2.8's
