Its a Kahuna, if you roll the grip down from the top, the details on the binding should give you some more info.

As Jake says it's a Kahuna.

It should say on the handle, but as the sticker stating the grade has been removed from the face I'd hazard a guess it's a lower end model.

Definitely a 08/09 Kahuna: by the look of face it could be a Ricky Ponting Kahuna model as well. This seemed to be the range hierarchy as well

Thanks for your help guys. I rolled down the grip and it says Kahuna Biggest. It's quite heavy 2.12 I believe but it has an additional grip on it which I will remove. Not exactly sure on the grading but it's just a bat to get back into cricket to see how I get on. Can you tell the grading by looking at it?

Just a query. Should the edges be knocked it? If I press down with my finger nail it leves a mark on the edges. Does that mean the edges still need knocking in? It has a protective covering on the face. I was just going to give a good oiling.

Extra knocking is never a bad thing if you think it's required.

The biggest kahuna was a mid to low range model, at least it was in recent times, may have been dofferent back then

The pressing down with the finger nail, is it marking the anti scuff sheet? This will always happen no matter how used or knocked in the bat is, it's very difficult to dent willow with your fingernail through a scuff sheet

No it's on the edges where there is no sheet. It's just plain wood on the edges. I can actually put a mark in the wood

The bat is only pressed on the face, so if you're putting your nails into the edge (side) or the back then it is always going to mark. Don't knock the edges themselves, as this will damage the bat, but you can knock the angle between the face and the edges at a 45 degree angle
