Hammer Hel 156!!
« on: April 04, 2016, 08:46:32 PM »

Hi Guys,

Apart from the the retailer reviews for Hammer bats I have not been able to find much info on these. I saw the review for the 2016 edition of the Hammer Hel Pro grade and loved the profile. However I have heard some of the Hammer bats are made in India so wasn't sure what is what. I was hoping you folks might have some useful info on Hammer bats. Thanks!

Hi man, they used to be made in England, but I'm not too sure now. I know Jason makes some himself now, so not sure if they will be made by him. If you message him on twitter, he will probably give you a better answer. :)

I think the top 2 grades are made in England..the lowest model in India.

Did u check his website? Only few models are made in India and it is clearly stated in the description of bat.

Thanks guys.

I did read the website- I don't trust what manufacturers say was hoping people here knew where they were being made. Thanks anyway!

Hi Righthand,

I have seen couple of hammer bats, they are really good bats. But way over priced. I would put my money on a Bat maker like Laver, RobPack, Aldred or Red Ink. They are being made either in India now or from Affinity. as far as Bat making from hammer, have seen couple of makes from him on the videos but again way over priced for what you get. Personally, I liked the way Laver deals. I have bought 3 bats from him and till now, got maintenance free every year except paying for shipping.

I have the Platinum version of the Hel 156. It is a top quality bat.

I have a hell156  weight is 2'10 exactly. Bought it back in 2014 if I'm not mistaken. A wonderful bat to be honest nice balance (not amazing)
And a nice big sweet spot and  packs a punch. All in all a very good bat. But as people said already it's overpriced and you could get better bats for the price mine was $399 and I wouldn't say it's even g1
