Well, you're lucky. The ones Chad bought also had freely admitted handle issues....

Perhaps, but if that handle isn't straight then all the grains and edge size and likeness to saltwater mammals means nowt
Handle on this is straight its just the pictures are taken in an angle .

Could you take a shot from the top off the bat down to prove it? If I'm wrong you have my sincere apologies.

This is not the first BAS PE to have this trouble. A friend of mine bought BAS PE from India and he didn't notice the problem at first. During a practice match someone pointed out to him and he was pretty devastated. However he still continues to play with that bat and seems to be fine with a slightly bent handle.

@ursmasti - You can make a choice here. Either return it or get it replaced for another BAS bat which doesn't have this issue. Who did you get it from ?

Sorry .. Just read your post again. Hanif is a very nice guy to deal with. Just email him and he will sort it out for you. I got my first BAS BOW 20-20 from this guy and service was excellent, so you are in good hands ...

I would take grip off first and have a look at handle itself, spiral grips may create a bit of an illusion.

Update:
I have used it last night at nets and i see no problems with the bat nor the handle made any issue with me hitting the balls. most of my team mates were surprised how light the bat is and how good it pings . I am going to keep it and not return.
