hang on the front sticker reads handcrafted english willow, you will fit nicley into the industry misleading buyers like that.  :D jokes

would would love to hear the answer to that question anyone ever own an aussie willow bat?

I have. It went like stink, but it was very fragile, didn't last the season I think.

I have seen a few and would have thought the opposite, hard as a bulls forehead the couple I have hit. May depend who makes them though I suppose.

As stated above yes it is English Willow grown in Australia, performance seems pretty good.  They seem to take a little while to get going but once they are properly knocked in they sound great and the ball flies off the face.

Having not made a bat using proper English Willow I dont have any science to base this on apart from my previously purchased bats and feedback from some teammates.

Great first bat!! Best of luck. Mr. Callen seems to make bats in Australia from Willow Blue and they come with a 12 gauge barrel!! Has anyone used those at all?

Like the look of the sticker on the face , IMO sticker on the back is little loud.
It would be nice if you can tweak it little bit to make it appeal to bigger crowd.

Did you do the course with Ian? A couple of guys at my club have Callen bats and they go well.

Yes did the course with Ian, was pretty good so much goes into it and just learning the tools is what I struggled with, oh and sanding  :)
