Generally, what gives more information about a bat when looking at its pics?
Or, say if you were buying a bat with only one pic available, what's the most important pic would you like to see?

Frontal face view?
Back side view?
Profile scalloping view?
Side profile view to see the sweet spot location and chunk in the edges?

I would usually go for profile - if its not low, its wasted on me.

At an angle from the toe, showing both profile and gives a feel for the concaving.

You cant really tell from the photos unless the seller is trustworthy.

I start be saying no arty shots, only simple clear pictures please.

You need to know the handle shape, the full length of the blade, toe up to see the bow and any concaving the profile and from the back.

Alternatively you say (insert name of preferred and very trusted bat supplier) send me something special please. You know what I like. Low middle, 2lbs 10 oval handle and make it a pinger please.
And you get a beauty, you can say it is the best bat you have ever bought then either use it until it dies or sell it "as you have too many bat" or "it is just the wrong weight" or some other rubbish excuse and the job's done.

I don't think one picture is enough to make a decision. If you can't pick the bat up then the more pictures the better or the option to chat to the retailers and get them to drop more pictures over of what you want to see. I don't like the fact that some of the big retailers have the generic shot of the bat so you have no idea of what you will actually be getting.
