Mongeese
« on: June 11, 2016, 09:23:02 AM »

Took advantage of the sale prices for the Mongoose bats and ended up with 3 bats, 2 pairs of gloves and a pair of pads, oh and 2 bat covers.
I bought the Cor3 for me, a Harrow Rebel and a size 5 Torque for my sons. The gloves were also for my sons, as well as the bat covers but the pads were for me.
I really like the Cor3, it seems to have a massive middle and is around 2lb 8 which suits me as I always prefer light bats. I am still to use it in anger as since I have had it all games have been a wash out and the one game I did bat in I only faced 3 balls.
The other bats are also impressive, especially for the price. They ping nice off the mallet and are again a nice weight for my sons to use. We may need to double/ triple grip the Harrow handle as it does seem to be a bit thinner than my son is used to.
Tom was excellent to deal with just a shame these seem to the last of this brand. Oh yes softs were also nice.

cheers

steve

Look nice - love to see a profile shot of them.

BTW - where did you pick them up from?
