Newbery Pads + Gloves
« on: November 01, 2013, 09:28:45 PM »

This is aimed mainly at the retailers among us although if you have them please chuck some info my way.

A pal of mine has asked my opinion on the Newbery Tour, TT and Test batting pads and gloves. I haven't used or seen any of them in the flesh so can you shed any light on the quality of protection offered by each? They all look pretty smart from a screen but any feedback would be great. If you stock them let me know aswell so I can direct him towards your sites.

Cheers

i bought the tt pads at the back end of last season and love them, lightweight, comfy, good protection but the green is quite bright and in your face however i think the performance of the pads overshadows this minor flaw

Soory to drag this up - how is the sizing on Newbery pads? Have seen some Merlins on offer and wondered how they come up.

If it's from newbery be careful Alvaro as many off us waiting on stuff ordered in there sale.

If it's from elsewhere, crack on. I've had no issue with previous sizing.

I have County gloves and they are slightly big for me - I use small men's size. Great quality gloves also they manage moisture better than my GM 909s.
