BB OZ profile
« on: May 23, 2016, 01:51:46 PM »

I got a new BB shape at my house whilst the Aussie Distributor is on holidays in the UK. Pictures are on my FB page. I don't have time tonight to set up photobucket so you can see them on the page for now. How I miss tapatalk for sharing pics on the forum.

I've seen that bat and it's a cracker. Picks up beautifully. Love the rounded face.

I'll probably get one myself for the upcoming season.

That should pick up well, with the meat nice and high. I prefer a rounded face, too, so for me that is close to the ideal shape. Beautiful.
What weight is that?

Sorry all, I have been a bit busy and forgotten to upload the pics. My work blocks photobucket but not the forum.

The Aussie distributor, Lyndon, can be reached through his FB page:

https://www.facebook.com/Bb-blank-bats-897344776979733/?fref=ts

I know him because he purchased my old Mongoose Torq off eBay a few years back. Top bloke. Us bat geeks all seem to met sometime or another.

The bat us 2:10.5. Pick-up is so individual, but when it arrived I said 2.11-2.12 dead weight and horrified Lyndon. I since then I have actually held it with gloves and it feels 2.8-2.9. Monday night someone said 2.7-2.8 to me when they came over to look at my B3 2 Stripe which is still for sale.

I'll flick the pictures up and one of my rubbish videos soon enough.

Really good review Marc. Far better than some I've seen where they rabbit on about the toe guard, stickers etc.

Thanks @Nmcgee. unrehearsed hence the errs amd ums lol. Didnt talk about pickup. Id say it feels 2.8-2.9 but someone else said less. Pickup to me is a individual thing. Its on its way home to the owner who returned from europe on the weekend. Very pleased with this bat. Pings like a tennis racket.

Great job with that review, Marc! A great introduction to this new bat in the BB range - it is an absolute belter!

Who is the aussie distributor ?

It is I! Get in touch if you're interested. Also looking to get some 3rd and 2nd grade bats in this B0Z shape out to Australian clubs, if there are any takers. Lightest weight this shape comes in is 2.9 (without scuff sheet preapplied). Clubs can contact me for orders of multiple bats - I might be able to do them a better deal.

Prices are as follows:

G1/LE: $575
G2: $450
G3 [net bat]: $300 (club price, although get in touch if there are any punters)

There's also a special deal for those who get their G1/LE BB bats prepped by Marc - $525 (that's for any shape in the BB range). Shipping is $30 Australia wide.
Pickup available in Sydney.

@sarg - I have been following your page for a while now ... how did i miss this one  ;) ?

Very nice video review. Most people end up speaking what comes to their mind first in an un-rehearsed video tape  :D

@sanredrose your not wrong. I'm so lucky to get these opportunities otherwise I'd spend a fortune on bats. Preparing a bat is such a special time as you see it come to life and the rebound improve to more you work on it. I'd like to play them in too, but they are not mine. This one is a beast.

@gerhard303 owns this bat and is the Aussie BB agent. It's his personal bat after another bat I sold on eBay that he purchased finally snapped. We formed a friendship over a cricket bat and hours of chatting even though we live thousands of km away from each other. Great hobby!
