His bats are 'legit' BAS bats, but they aren't legit UK BAS bats - if that makes sense? I think that's accurate anyway.

not sure of any legal issues.. but in terms of quality, price and warranty, there seems to be absolutely no difference. I believe this is what the original post was trying to ascertain.

Is there any reason to worry if EAS has BAS bats made for the indian market but selling them in the UK? The answer is NO. Not being biased, but his customer service is good and offers warranty for the bats he sells regardless of the market its made for. Like brokenbat mentions, there is no risk and his bats are legit. Again its up to the CBF member to buy from forum sponsors or from non-forum sponsors. I believe he has never claimed that BAS he sells is legit for the UK market in his video reviews. Hope this helps.

He did claim that the new balance bats he acquired via the same grey market means were legit for the uk market though. Even pointing to the hologram sticker they carried as proof of their legitimacy when in fact UK market new balance bats didn’t carry holograms. He was also selling models/grades that didn’t exist in the uk range (or any other market as far as I could tell...)

Isn't the issue this whole outdated ‘uk market’ ‘Indian market’ ‘Oz market’ approach? In reality people just buy what they want from who they want & wherever in the world they want to now.

Seems very odd that because a certain sticker is different that the bat shouldn’t be sold in the uk... If the manufacturer/seller are offering a year long warranty what is actually different from an Indian model NB vs a UK model NB other than the stickers?

Quality can differ for each region, Kookaburra used to be a prime example of that as are GM.

Don’t know about BAS and NB, at least you can view a video of the bat too for some comfort
