Im really impressed with this technology. Tempted to buy. No coach can give you details such as bat angles etc.

But what use is knowing your bat angle?

When i had some coaching one of the things that was picked up was the angle of my bat on contact (especially to spinners) was open to cover rather than straight down the line, this will mean you hitting in to out more often or only playing with half a bat rather than presenting the full face, i was nicking off  (in nets) more than past changes.

See that I understand. But if the bat angle is anything the Zepp monitors used in golf/tennis it will be back lift angle rather than face at impact.

And as for bat paths simple use of video can be used to give feedback on.
Could be a cool little gadget but I can’t see it offering £150, better spent on coaching

I can see these going the same way as the gizmos people put on the top of golf clubs to track their game.

They'll seem a good idea at first, but they can't lie. Either the novelty will wear off and people will stop using it, or it will be too honest. It may reveal people aren't as good at they think which will again result in them not being used.

it just seems like pointless data that does little help most club level cricketers tbh
