Just going to hijack this thread now, instead of starting my own.

My Hunts Reflex isn't in awful condition (I picked it up for next to nothing second hand). There's the odd dent where it's been in a kit bag, a tiny bit of feathering on the toe and a few spike marks (the danger of buying second hand, I guess).

Other than that I thought I'd done a half decent job of tidying it up. However, I fancied some new stickers on there as the pink ones are looking a touch dog eared and tired (the previous owner, not me, let them start lifting I hasten to add).

After a phone call (and a good conversation with the lovely lady who answered the phone), I sent it off to Hunts today for a full refurb.

I got a few quick snaps before I boxed it up. Now the wait to see what it looks like when I receive it back.

I got my Reflex back today.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow, but it has a bit of an Aura about it now!

And here is my bat back from Hunts.
I'm really impressed with the service. From posting the bat off to receiving it back was about 3 weeks.

The good
My bat was refurbished and sent back quickly.
I got regular updates from Hunts regarding the progress.
The price - £40 for a full repair and refurb service is great value.

Things to keep in mind
While the finishing wasn't by any means bad, don't expect your bat to come back with a mirror finish that some people seem to expect.
The stickers - I love them but they won't be everyones cup of tea!

Enough waffle, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

These first few were as soon as it came out of the box.

After this I removed the tape from the toe and changed the scuff sheet to one of my own (I really am that OCD about these things...)

Always get a good refurb from them, as you said not the best finish but more than adequate! I like the stickers but the only bit I can't stand is the white sticker bit, would be much nicer clear in my opinion.
