my experience of dealing with manufacturers on has been very good when something like this happens

B3 are one of those with a great customer service reputation, you don't get that without actually providing it.

Just to update this, but after sending the bat to B3 Streaky has agreed to replace it. +1 to say that their customer service is second to none.

Never been too fussed about the amount of heartwood or blemishes, but feels like a beauty and it'll be a fun weekend getting the linseed oil and mallet out.

Again, can't stress enough about how brilliant the service at B3 is and many thanks to @The Doctor for sorting it out, above and beyond is an understatement!
