They Randomly added me on Instagram. The prices they are selling for just don't add up to me.

Why do you think their pricing doesn't add up ? Flare cricket bat - LE grade at AUD 499 seems like a competitive price. LE bats from Kook are generally sold in AUD600+ range. GN Ultimate is priced around 500 AUD.

400 aud for a custom le just seems to good to be true, that's all.

I am sure I can see join marks on some of those bats, they look like those junk laminate grain sheets CX are doing. There was a guy here in Newcastle stickering up sticks like this with his label until he got caught out. Put aside whatever you think may be mark ups to cover sponsorship etc, do you really think rare premium willow will be given to a hobby brand to re sticker and re-sell at a fraction of market value price?

i checked with few ppl who purchased their bats through facebook and they have nothing but positive things to say.i got in contact regarding a custom made bat and they shared pics of raw clefts they have in stock for us to pick and decide which cleft to be custom made. they seem pretty genuine to me. there are lot of boutique brands in uk also offering le grades around 200 pounds.

I've spoken to someone involved with Flare. From what I understand they have a new supplier so are clearing their old stock.

I think you'll find not all their bats are custom made, or they may have a new willow supplier. I just know they are clearing a lot of their bats and I spoke to someone involved in the company today.
