Masuri replacement parts
« on: March 08, 2017, 09:13:24 AM »

I have a Masuri VS Elite Titanium with a Stem guard attached and have been comfortably using it for over a year now, however the problem is the strap between the two guards keeps twisting and at times making the Stem guard rub on the back of my head. I've tried emailing Masuri to see what I can do about it and they haven't replied, does anyone know if/where I can get replacement Stem guard straps without having to buy a new Stem guard?

Try tweeting them as well, they seem pretty helpful via that medium. If not i believe our sponsors have helped with this in the past @Vitas Cricket @VKS any chance guys?

Last resort, have you contacted whoever you bought it from for their help?

Thank you, I'll try twitter next. I'm not sure where it came from as it was gift from someone I don't see too often

Sorry but we don't have any spare straps. Perhaps try calling Masuri to see if they can help, as emails can sometimes get overlooked.

No worries thank you, they were pretty good last time when I had a problem with my first VS Elite which is why this has surprised me

Thank you :) I managed to find an old email thread with Ali from Masuri who helped me deal with the ear pads falling out of my first VS Elite

Masuri have issued new clips to hold the stemguard in place permanently. In the new package is also a new strap that is smaller than the 3 issued originally, this may help?

The original retailer where the stemguard came from should have a load of clips and straps sent by masuri to update their existing stock, both on the shelf and already sold (providing they can track customers down)

Yes thats the intention of the extra straps and clips sent by masuri, as new stock going forward will include these in the box. I have contacted a few people who purchased stremguards but its difficult to remember/track down everyone, and nigh on impossible for in store customers unless i happen to know them. Please contact me to arrange.

Yes, the ones in the helmet are regular thickness, there are also thick and extra thick that can be purchased, as well as the new pro foams with antibacterial treatment and added protection thanks to poron XRD foam.

Get the pro foams from Jake, they are great and make a big difference to the comfort and are way better than the other foam you get.

So when Masuri finally get back to me could I also ask for the update to try as well as the parts I think I need?
