Something to worry about?
« on: November 22, 2017, 01:52:29 PM »

Hi chaps after using the bat in the nets on our 5th session of nets I looked down to find this, just wondering if this is something to worry about or not? Or if I should try and get it repaired I’m a bit clueless when it comes to things like this thanks, it’s an amazing bat so I would hate for me to break it anymore if it could be prevented

That needs a repair, regardless of who does it.

Good advice.  @tom line fixed my Blueroom (it was a total right off and was heading towards my woodburner), now in use as my indoor over 50s match bat. fantastic job!!!!!

Can't see if the crack as gone right through to the back if it has not if you do  not want to pay for a repair glue and tape.

Maybe just the photo, but do the edges need a bit of rounding?

I had a similar ding in mines from damage early in its life, glue, clamp and sand and it's not gotten any worse after 4 years of use.

Nothing to be gutted about, this kind of damage will happen. It's an easily fixable issue as well. I would do just what @Kulli has described.
