Sending bats
« on: March 24, 2017, 12:14:17 PM »

Just sending off a few bits I've sold today and quote to send a Ti Grill (box weight) by Hermes was £4. In true Yorkie fashion, thought I'd shop about and ended up sending it for £2.70... still via Hermes! Booked it by Parcels2Go instead. Not sure if the saving will translate to bats but with Hermes' recent price increase, might be a good way to save a few quid just by visiting a different website!

Parcel2go are decent on price but easily the worst for service when it goes wrong, and believe me with Hermes you have a decent chance of it going wrong.

The final time i used them they refused a pickup i had booked, saying they had already taken a parcel with that barcode. I tracked it and it said delivered, the customer confirmed they had not had a delivery and confirmed the signature provided by parcel2go/Hermes was not theirs.

They refused to accept that i had not sent the parcel despite me sending photos of it with the barcode visible, clearly still in my possession. I have a  screengrab of a livechat where they call me a liar! It was only a few quid but they refused a refund even though they had never actually taken the parcel.
Customer contacted me 2 days later to confirm a parcel had now arrived that carried the same barcode as the one on my parcel. The contents? A brand new iphone!

Some poor sod will be down about £600 as i have very little faith in parcel2go rectifying that situation.

I normally find that Parcel Monkey are reliable!
Not as cheap as P2Go but they have been 100% reliable so far on the 12 times I have used them.
