One for the Purists
« on: May 08, 2017, 11:53:37 AM »

Spotted this on eBay and had to have it; loved the bat as a youngster but never got my hands on one. Seller said it was in good nick so bought it, and sent straight to @tom line for an excellent refurb. Cracks in the face and toe aren't what I'd call good nick, but Tom took care of them without any fuss so I thank him for that. Sadly came without original grip so it's got a red GM one on instead, but still love it. Probably will never use it, but response is very good. Sadly, there are also dents in the back so got a bit of cash back off the seller. Anyway, pics.

Have you tried steaming the dents out?

Proper bat, that.
What's that other classic GM on the table, then?
