Gray nice grading
« on: May 10, 2017, 06:23:05 PM »

What's the story with these?

Looking for a replacement for my dynadrive and looking on eBay I can see a predator 3 500 lite and also a supernova 500 lite.

Where do these sit in the list of GN bats and are they decent? Hoping to get them for about £100

Cheers

500 lite sits somewhere in the middle. It is between 5 star and 4 star bats.

Supernova Grade
Test/LE
Players
5 Star
5 Star extreme
500 Lite
4 Star
Power blade
Strike

Hope this answered your question.

Yes thanks.

Prices on new bats have gone insane. 5 star bats easily over 200 quid!!

Think I'll make do with a 500 lite.

The Gray Nics Aus Range prices for next year are fantastic when compared to Kookaburra, who are charging $550aud for a grade 3 Ghost 1500, to put it into perspective, you can buy a gray nics Grade 2 bat that has been handmade in australia for similar cost.

@SAFC2403 you can always contact any of the forum sponsors and they would help you pick the right bat for your budget. They are very helpful!

I know that and would love to have £200 for a decent bat but cash is tight for me.
Thinking I might be better off saving a bit more a getting a decent hand picked bat from a forum sponsor rather than chancing a dodgy bat off eBay.

Got a really old GN longbow that I can use in the meantime. Dynadrive just too heavy for me!!

If you want  a GN 500 light try GN Sportsbay they have 5 all under £100.00 with free post.

thanks. i'll take a look

quite like the look of the GN ultimate as well and i've seen that at a decent price - this would match up with my GN classic gloves and pads.

Glad to see you have a classic GN Longbow - think I have a totally unused one of those babies in my collection.
Love the shape of them!  :)

Love my old school GN stuff.

Have a 1980's powerspot that my dad used. He used to send it back for returns every year. It's looking a bit worse for wear now though. Had the best middle on any bat I've ever used. Split now so don't use it.
