I can't speak for talent (they tend to be good, i hear way more customer service horror stories about cricket direct, online stockist and others than i do about talent) but knowing Hunts as well as i do, i know they would want to rectify this. If you don't get anywhere with talent i would suggest contacting them directly. Call 01480 451234 and ask for Duffy.

It's not that simple, as you're not ordering a specific brand it isn't that straight forward.

To put it bluntly, if you order a 'blank Grade 1 custom-made cricket bat' and receive a 'blank Grade 1 custom-made cricket bat' then it leaves you with little to no comeback. I'm not saying any company would actually enforce the law to the letter (I certainly wouldn't!), but legally it's fairly black and white in that sense.

Either way, hopefully it'll be sorted for you @the don!
Yeah I am not sure. I would think though a bat is custom because it's made to a specific shape/weight as requested by customer, by our laws here a customer is entitled a refund if goods are faulty or not as described. As has been said though anyone with decent customer service will rectify it before it went any further.
