The total was achievable with India's batting lineup but in my opinion Amir took the game away from them. Rohit, Dhawan & Dhoni all 3 are the best in business. End of the day it was really good to see a match between too teams.

We don't see many good bowling spells on the international scene anymore. What Amir did was amazing!

Whether it is bat sizes or tourneys, ICC/MCC are clueless as usual. It is really a shame.

Unfortunately, the future is dictated by finances and T20 is the cash cow. Also, T20 is the only way the game can be expanded to more countries including native american/europeans/russians/chinese/japanese etc, not just the expats living there. When the likes of ABD claim that they don't give a damn about 10,000 test runs and skips test matches to play CPL/BPL etc, it doesn't help either..As much as traditionalists dislike it, we will need to get used to it...

"Native Americans" in the USA prefer cash cows like casinos gambling. They are making money by giving locals the space and opportunity to gamble.

If by "native american" you mean, non-native americans, i.e. descendents of Europeans/Brits who displaced the real "Native Americans" (red indians) and hunted American Bison to near extinction, that demographic loves baseball. To them T-20 will look like a cheap imitation of "their" sport. I saw footage of the "all stars" t-20 games in NYC's Yankee Stadium, it looked boring compared to baseball.

How do you market Cricket to americans? I don't have an answer to that. But before it catches on in America, it will have to catch on in the rest of the world, like Soccer. Rugby is gaining in popularity among US high schoolers and I assure you when these kids grow up, they would love to see a Rugby League in the US. See the trend?

Ya, dont want to get into the native/non-native argument/history, I just meant the non-expats or local (we know expats will be interested in cricket anyway).. As you said, it is currently not there, but for a 3 hour sport, at least there is a chance it might be developed but ODIs and tests is completely out of the question given the time commitment...Agree, there are many other places that can and have to be developed as well..
