You get bats with those kinds of blemishes from MSR for like £40-60. :-[ It does look a good shape and sure, the uncovered parts look good, but shame about the parts under the sticker. :(

Considering that hitman seems to be their top of the range bat, very surprised at the willow under the stickers. Was tempted to get one earlier but after seeing this, I would stay clear..

The profile is great and the rebound of a ball even when new/ sound off a mallet is probably the best I've seen. So in many ways this particular one is a great bat but I couldn't get past the "blemish" and was hoping for the promised monster size. Handle is quite round too which in hindsight probably wouldn't have been the best for me either so I'm not too unhappy with the outcome.

In case anyone is curious there are two places to get these in the UK and if I were to give one a shot again I would try EAS next time ;)

A lot of people have mixed opinions on eas but Hanif seems to get good bats from brands that could otherwise be more hit and miss .I was , at one time , tempted to get a hitman and basically i was willing to pay more to get it from eas , rather than ols or somewhere similar . In the end i got over my ceat fetish , and your pics helped to a large degree - i suppose that i was temporarily attracted to the promised massive sized bats .
I keep meaning to do a post on the 2 c.a big bangs i got off Hanif ( c.a ...a good example , one of my favourite brands , great when you get the good ones , not worthy of kindling when you don't ) , they are the two pingiest bats I've ever pinged - 2lb6.5 and 2lb7 but ping basically the same as my 2lb10oz xp80s . If I ever did get tempted by a brand like ceat , mrf etc , then I'd likely get the bat from eas .

CA and other asian brands are handpicked by someone local in india/pakistan for Hanif. Never heard anything bad regarding quality of bats or his customer service.
