Cricket is a dying sport Nicholas, nobody wants to play it any more, especially on Sundays

Off topic slightly but the beds Sunday league has 7 divisions, so Sunday cricket in one form or another is surviving.

I do enjoy my games on a Sunday in the Beds League.

However the only problem i find is that alot of clubs have no qualms in putting Saturday players who should be playing in the Prem/Div 1 into a Div 5 side to smash the bowling of 13 year-olds.

@uknsaunders, They also play Sunday League cricket in the borsetshire league , with Ambridge in the same boat as most teams, dropping player numbers has been address by allowing women to join the side.  William Grundy is not happy about it
