Mate of mine has an oldish GN helmet where the grille is adjustable. In this I mean you can (slightly) increase/decrease the viewing window by using the different spaced hole options where the grille secures to the lid.

I cant find any of these in the shops. I needed one same day so I bought one but I dont like it, find the viewing window too restrictive and its affecting my game.

Any suggestions?

Best bet is to look on Ebay. You won't find too many adjustable grille helmets in the shops as they don't conform to the current safety standards.

If you are in Aus, try Whack Sports. They have both fixedand adjustable helmets that he brings in from India.

Pull the visor on your lid further down and watch the ball more closely.

Sounds stupid, but I was worried about vision with the new lids, but after using them for a bit you get used to it very fast.

I had the same problem, I could not see a damn thing as the top bar of the grille was permanently fixed in my eye line. So I took a hacksaw to it and it is no longer a problem.
