the new bat regs has massively helped bat makers and willow merchants. They now can make standard shapes and not have to produce massive light bats on demand and also i assume oversized clefts would cost more.

I am sure we will still be able to get big bats from custom makers

I wouldn't be surprised if JS Wright pulled some strings to start this ruckus! They stand to financially benefit the most from all this.

my thoughts exactly, no more requests for oversized clefts although percentage wise they must have been very minimal
