Neon Blue G2 Review
« on: March 08, 2018, 04:25:00 PM »

Hi Guys,

My first bat review on here so please be gentle.

After using an MSR for the last 4 years I decided to retire it as it had lost a bit of its life. I looked around for someone to copy its shape etc and Neon cricket stood out for me so I decided to email Adam to see if he could do a copy of my old bat. Within a few hours Adam had responded and even extended a CBF discount saving me a further 15%. I asked for the bat to be a G2 due to budget constraints but being a performance over looks guy anyway that didn't worry me. After a few weeks (busy time of year for batmakers) I received my new bat and in terms of shape and weight it is identical to my old one, I couldn't be more please with it. Performance wise it is brilliant too, the middle is so responsive to the mallet but its not quite ready to net with just yet. The pickup is good for its weight (2.10) but as the meat is lower down the bat it could feel heavy to some but its my preference

For anyone hesitating about buying from Adam, please don't, his service and products are superb.

I have attached a few pics below, the looks aren't too bad to be honest but the performance is exceptional

I'd be interested to see a profile (side) shot. Lovely, full profile seen in the shot from the toe. The neon stickers, with no background colour, give a lovely clean view of the willow.

Look forward to a review when you get to the nets with it.

Enjoy,

David

I believe @Neon Cricket has a bit of a dislike for the look of black tape on a white grip!

Grip grip underneath and fold it neatly down over the shoulders will sort it right out!

I agree white grip and black tape is a no no!
