Bat authenticity
« on: April 30, 2018, 03:31:57 PM »

Hi all,

Seriously considering purchasing this however starting to doubt its authenticity. The black/ white tape combo is usually a sign of pakistani made bats no? Also not a stock grip from salix, very strange for them to allow a blemish and heartwood into the finite grade. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Jordan

I am no expert so couldn’t comment on authenticity but one thing that did surprise me was the ease in which I could obtain stickers from Salix when I was doing a refurb. (Not that I’m complaining)!

For a non salix bat?!?!?!?! That does shock me if it wasn't a salix bat.

Dont worry about this post anymore, he said he had a receipt from salix but couldnt show me because he paid under RRP. So i said about the differences and he told me it wasnt salix. Probably just one of those max grainers off online stockist

The shape and quality of the face label looks to be totally bogus. Definitely a bullet dodged! Hope Salix chase the vendor up directly, this sort of fake product risks giving everyone a bad name.

Unfortunately this just echos why we stopped supplying labels separate, the few ruin it for other genuine requests.

Not seen a fake H4L yet so obviously working. Hell 4 leather cricket is probably my top search on ebay ;)
